Overview of Montezumas Revenge

Montezumas Revenge is a platform video game, which, by its design, belongs to the early 1980s. Created and developed by Robert Jaeger Montezumas Revenge was created for Atari 2600, Commodore 64, and Apple II and is now considered as one of the first platformers. It features, Panama Joe, or Pedro, the adventurer who has to explore the trap-infested Aztec temple of Montezuma.

Playing Montezumas Revenge involves the discovery, solving of mysteries and the hurdles to complete work for getting the anti venom with the help of Panama Joe in several stages of the temple. Every level has different barriers: ladders, snakes, spiders, roller-skulled and locked gates which opens only with a help of the keys. The goal in Montezumas Revenge is to collect the emblems placed at different parts of the temple & to do this, to avoid dangers, and to save as many resources as possible, including heath & lives.
