Overview of Root: The Marauder Expansion
Root: The Marauder Expansion is an extension of Root, the board game beloved by critics. Here a two factions are added to Root, the Lord of the Hundreds has his own tactics, mechanics and perks as well as the Keepers in Iron. The Lord of the Hundreds is functional with compulsion as its mob causes havoc within the woodland taking control. Meanwhile, the Keepers in Iron are religious fanatics, whose only purpose is to restore lost artifacts, thus using sheer force & determination to control essential pieces of the map.
New additions to single player campaign are the factions of characters which are actually separated small groups of characters that can be hired by the player to fight for his cause. These hirelings are realized not only as additional background that enriches the world and gives extra options and abilities to change the tactic of the game in the process of the battle. In general, hirelings are an invaluable asset as you are granting your characters access hundreds of new uses for a mere chunk of change. You may also like: Nagi No Ko.

- After the transfer is complete right click on the .zip file and click extract to Root: The Marauder Expansion (Note you will need the program 7-Zip to do this, click here to download).
- Open the folder, which you extracted and, using the administrative mode, start the game.
- Have fun, The game should be run as an administrator to prevent troubles during the whole procedure. Which brings a message for the missing DLL errors to install all applications that are located in the Redist or _CommonRedist folder.
