Overview of Silent Hill 2

Silent Hill 2 is a survival horror video game developed by Team Silent & published by Konami in 2001. The protagonist of the film is James Sunderland who has to come to Silent Hill a town wrapped in fog & experiencing supernatural phenomena, after receiving a letter from the deceased wife Mary, inviting him to meet her in Silent Hill. Nightmarish creatures and disturbed individuals appear along the way representing James’s guilty and tormented conscience along with the complexity of sufferings that he tries to go through. It is popular for its eerie setting, the music that has been composed by Akira Yamaoka, and the themes of the game.

The main themes revealing James’ progression through his own mind as he investigate the truth of his wife’s murder and his own guilt. On the way, he gets friends like Maria the sexy looking lady who inspires Mary, and Angela, a beautiful young lady struggling with a dependent disorder. These characters reflect James’ guilt and regrets back to him which gives the events of the story a psychological undercurrent. Is it not the same with the town, where the spirit of town adapts the horror experience suitable to its guests’ minds? Easy Setup: There is no requirement for setting up of anything. In the first instance, look for an an _Redist or _CommonRedist folder if you get stuck over missing DLL errors. All provided in the folder DirectX, Vcredist, all other programs will need to install for normal work of the game.
