The Roottrees are Dead is set to immerse players through gorgeously eerie environments such as post-apocalyptic ruins as well as giving a sense of rejuvenation giving the environment a sense of decay, hope, and renewal. They incarnate an individual who has been challenged to find out why the Roottrees has disappeared and the ecosystem which it sustained has failed as well.
Exploration, puzzles, problem solving and narration are the key elements of the game style. Collecting puzzles, players explore various terrains – from hot deserts to dense ruins – and gather ancient symbols, objects, & myths.
